The biggest question of all, at this time is why with 96 AMs in the Welsh assembly do we need to send 32 Politicians to the UK Parliament
The Welsh Assembly, now Senedd Cymru, can legislate on devolved matters not reserved to the UK Parliament, including health, education, local government, transport, economic development, and some taxes.
Legislative Powers
Senedd Cymru has the authority to make laws in areas that are not reserved to the UK Parliament, following the Reserved Powers Model established by the Wales Act 2017 senedd.wales+1. This means it can pass Acts of the Senedd on devolved matters such as:

Housing and local government

Transport within Wales

Economic development and business support

Environmental protection and agriculture

Culture, language, and social services
The Assembly initially had only secondary legislative powers, but the Government of Wales Act 2006 and the 2011 referendum extended its ability to pass primary legislation in all devolved areas Wikipedia+2.
Taxation Powers
Since 2014, the Senedd has gained limited tax-raising powers, including:

These powers allow the Welsh Government to influence public finances and fund devolved services, though the majority of funding still comes from the UK government block grant calculated via the Barnett formula
So Called Wild Fires
Wild fires as the name suggests is a fire caused in the wild by nature, not by some clowns who think it’s a good idea to set the mountain alight.
The number of fires in Wales and of course in the UK as a whole has risen to a tremendous degree it seems fun to light fires on the mountainsides, what about the fire engines that could be called out to a serious house fire or even a larger place where lives are at risk, is it not then feasible that the people caught be it younger or older the people must be named, it is not good enough any more to say that they are too young to be named or maybe have mental problems it is destroying our country it is destroying the UK, and to what end?
It is in my opinion its only a matter of time until some one is going to get killed by these mindless fools.
Have they got nothing better to do in many cases no they haven’t. It is time that any one caught of any crime must be punished and a meaningful punishment served, of course I am not in any way able to advise the courts on this issue but there must be a way to stop this destruction of our Country no matter where you live in the UK.

It is a sad fact that like England our NHS is broken from years of neglect from all political parties.
NHS waiting list at an all time high, if you do visit an A&E anywhere in the country you will find you have to wait hours to get treatment this is not the doctors or nurses fault nurses are worked off their feet for 12 hour shifts, for little reward.
It's a fact that nurses working full time have to go to the food banks so they can get enough food to feed their families. There are not enough nurses there are not enough doctors and there are not enough clinical expertise to run an efficient health service, this is not scaremongering this is a true fact are we to see the abolishment of free medical treatment in this country I say free treatment, we all pay our fair share of taxes to have the service that we so desperately need. When are all governments going to wake up, surely they can see the problems that are facing the NHS today.
As of 2024–2025, Wales has approximately 41,452 registered nurses on the NMC(nursing and midwifery council) register, with 24,882 FTE(full time equivalent) registered nurses employed in NHS Wales.

The UK Government Pledge To Do Away with VAT On Electricity Bills
Remove VAT on electricity bills — from 5% down to 0% from 1st October Saves around £45 a year on the average annual bill of about £1,862It applies to electricity only, not gas, and suppliers are supposed to pass it straight on, even if you're on a fixed tariff Cost is about £850 million for 2026-27, funded by cancelling the £1.8bn Digital ID programme from the last government ( I wonder ).
The catch for places like Rhondda
The price cap itself is still expected to rise in October — analysts were saying from £1,862 to around £1,950 without the cut, so with the cut it still goes up to about £1,906. So that £45 doesn't leave you better off, it just makes the rise less painful.
A lot of the comment is also that it's less than £1 a week, and critics are asking if it's really fully funded because that Digital ID money was never actually budgeted.
Is it cutting the "fat" out of the system, or just moving tax around?
If he was cutting top heaviness in the energy market itself — green levies, grid charges, the admin layers — the saving could be bigger than just the VAT bit.
